Aquarium + Otakon = Baltimore trip
Thursday: "Crazy southern aquariums and heated lines"

Murray and the Hayes accompanied me on my southward Pilgrimage, along with a person from Maine, the Kat. And there were ups and downs on the highway out of philadelphia as we traveled southward along a well currently being re-contructed road, following luckily clear weather the whole way down. Our arrival at the $15 parking was marked by a sudden outburst of "Kushto, there's $5 parking across the street!" But it was too late, and we ended up in the newly build expensive garage. The aquarium was crowded with lots of little kids on a school trip, so it was not as fun as we had hoped. But it was still fun, and we almost managed to get the Kelly Hayes wet via dolphin slash when it came time for the dolphin show. Unfortunatley, the "splash zone" was greatly exaggerated. We tried to find a place were you can pet the nurse sharks, I know there used to be a place, either here or in NJ, but I was pretty sure it was NJ, but the attempt only came up with a "pet the shoecrab" tank. Oh well. With a little walking, we ended up in the line.... On time somehow. And we waited and got our pre-reg stuff... on time again. We went to our motel and got our room, and watched tv until sleep claimed the last of us.

Friday: "And then there was Bobobobo-bo bobo bobobobobo bo bo bo bo-bo-bo"

We arrived around 8:30, and realized that we would need to wait in line for an hour before they'd let us in. When we did get in, we watched Bobobo-BoBo, a story of a man out to save the world from a hair stealing cult... By attacking them with his nosehairs.

"You defeated all my men! What the?"
"Could it possibly be that my name is Bo-bobo bobobobo bo-bo-bo-bo bobobo bobo bobobo?"
"WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME????"

We then watched a movie "Kaante" that was supposed to be a rip-off resevior dogs.... and was, only there was dancing and indian music. Then we stopped for lunch, and then came back & watched "The World of Narue." Its a show about an alien girl and some guy who falls in love with her, I thought it was pretty funny. After that, we prepped for "Mad Monk", which starred most of the cast of Shaolin Soccer, and was quite funny, mostly in the way of movies that are so horrificly bad that you cant help but like them. Then dinner at fudd ruckers. I had my yearly 1/2 pound gut-buster burger and a strawberry shake. Then me & Murray went to see a panel about convention phtoto and video. It was ok, but it was put together last minute and everything, and everyone that was supposed to be there was sick. At the end of the panel, security came through and told us we needed to leave so they could check ID's for the upcoming... Yaoi panel. Me and Murray left in a dreadful hurry, and heard the "You-I! You-I!" chants from the line that had formed. We attempted the panel about DDR, but unfortunately it was the most dissapointing thing ever, some guy talking about how much he liked DDR. After that, we met up with the Hayes, and dragged the Kat away from some hentai show so we could get some sleep & get up early the next day.

Ok... More about the trip later, I have an 8 hour drive to maine ahead of me, and I gots to go now so I dont hit rushhour traffic in boston.
